S1E6: Carmen - Invisible Struggles: A Dutch-born Chinese's Journey of Identity and Empowerment
Step into the world of Carmen, a Dutch-born Chinese whose life's intricacies unfurled long before she could fully grasp them. Amidst the cobblestone streets of her childhood and the corridors of her school, the weight of her ethnicity marked her, molding her responses and character in ways unseen.
She also spent a year and a half in the UK, gaining insights into the cultural differences between the UK and the Netherlands. Currently, she is visiting her relatives in Hong Kong. The recording of this episode took place remotely, with me being in Helsinki.
